Mercedes-Benz SLS Assembling

The fourth episode of the Ultimate Factories series created by National Geographic Channel brings us to Germany, more exactly to the factory of Mercedes-Benz in Stuttgart where we see the assembling process of the SLS AMG.

Go inside Mercedes’ largest German factory to see what it takes to build the 571hp Mercedes-Benz Gullwing SLS. Computers control everything in a Mercedes which has more than a mile of wiring in each car. To create the fastest Mercedes to date, it takes some of the best engineers in the world to mold a light yet strong supercar in less than 15 hours. The spiritual successor of the original 1950s Mercedes 300 SL blends modern engineering with classic Mercedes design.

For now we can share six pictures and two teaser videos with you and remind you not to miss the full episode tomorrow!
