When mentioning the name ‘Morgan’ most of us think about exclusive sports cars with a contemporary design. When we dig back in the brand’s history we can tell you that it all started with trikes, three-wheel cars wherefrom the last one was built back in 1953. Morgan now announced that they will build a new three-wheel car making its official debut in 2011.
Under the hood you’ll find a Screaming Eagle 1,800cc Harley-Davidson engine coupled to the five-speed manual gearbox from a Mazda 5. Total outpout will be around 100bhp which enables the car to do the sprint from standstill to 100km/h (62mph) in just 4.5 seconds. Top speed will be limited to 185km/h (115mph).
