2011 Dodge Challenger Gets Pentastar V6

Chrysler has released information that the 2011 Dodge Challenger will have a new engine, the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6. The higher horsepower V6 produces 305bhp at 6350rpm – representing a 55 horsepower increase over the previous 3.5 liter V6. Torque also is noticeably up with the V6 rated at 268lb-ft at 4800rpm.

Leaves us with one single thing. Just compare these figures to the Mustang with its new 305hp 3.7liter V6 and the Camaro with its direct-injected, 312hp 3.6 liter six. Quite an interesting versus!
