Goodwood 2010: Alfa Reveals Annual Central Feature

Goodwood 2010 Alfa Reveals Annual Central Feature 320

Goodwood 2010 is still three days before opening its doors. Ahead of the start of the event Alfa Romeo and the organisation revealed the annual ‘Central Feature’ to form the centrepiece of this year’s Festival of Speed.

The statue is placed in front of Goodwood house and features the Alfa Romeo 8C supercar alongside one of only two P2 racers in existence. The Alfa P2 on the statue won the first world championship for grand prix cars in 1925 and is estimated to be worth between £15-20 million.

Alfa also revealed their line-up for this year. More than 50 cars from its Museo Storic historic collection in Milan will be shipped to the Festival celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Italian brand.
