The Pagani C9 – the successor to the current Zonda – is taking shape ahead of the public debut in Paris later this year. AutoExpress spotted the car two weeks after a C9 test mule was crashed on the German Autobahn near Stuttgart.

The production of the C9 with its Mercedes-sourced 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 – producing around 700bhp and 1000Nm of torque – is scheduled to begin in late 2010, with a price tag of around £ 800,000.
