Spekter Werkes ZO6 GTR

American tuning company, Specter Werkes, has presented its version of the Corvette ZO6 which will be shown to the public at the SEMA show staring next week. The ZO6 GTR is based on the C6 GTR launched earlier this year. Thanks to a Lingenfelter twin-turbo system the 7.0 liter V8 engine gets an output of 800bhp.

Next to the supercharged LS7 V8 engine, the ZO6 GTR also got a StopTech STR brake package, featuring six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers as well as Corsa exhaust system with GTR-specific exhaust tips. On the outside this aggressive looking Corvette got a pearl paint and a full aero kit finished with carbon fiber accents. Other details are a matt black rear facia and a set of HRE carbon fiber wheels.

  1. Eh. The problem I have with Corvettes are simple, as is my problem with Porsche 911s, it’s been the same shape for years now. You can’t tell a difference between them.

They could be the fastest cars in the world, but when you make 10 other models that look the same but are very slow, there’s nothing special about them.

  2. I saw this car with the hood up in all it’s glory at the Chicago Auto show and it’s a damn fine impressive piece of work. I would take one of these hands down even if it is just another corvette.
