We’ve seen quite a few shots of the RS5. It’s definately nearing the final stages of it’s development, we even spotted it in the mountains back in June. Because of these regular sightings, we don’t think there will be too many surprises when Audi comes to actually releasing their mid-range tourer. These pictures show the matte black test car somewhere in central Europe.
The RS5 is rumoured to feature the high-revving V8, producing somewhere close to 450bhp. The twin pipe tail pipes let us know that this car is something special. Flared arches and larger air intakes hint at classic Audi coupés of the past.
It’s scheduled to be released in 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show. Of course we’ll be there to give you an in-depth look, but until then, enjoy these photos!
