Spyshots: Audi R8 V10 Clubsport

Spyshots Audi R8 V10 Clubsport

Chapter 25 in the story of the Audi R8! This time it’s the Audi R8 V10 Clubsport, spotted doing some laps around the track at the Nurburgring in Germany. Why a Clubsport? There is a new aerodynamic package fitted to the car, so it would be logical to see a new version of the Audi supercar bearing such a name.

But what can we expect more? WorldCarFans suggests that Audi will try to install a two-wheel drive system instead of the current four-wheel drive system. They would even shed some weight, perhaps 100 to 150 kilograms.

Would be great to see such a car rolling down the road. We would even suggest a race between this R8 and the brand new Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni edition. Both two wheel drive, both a V10 engine and both developed by “merely” the same company.

Let’s wait and see what Audi comes up with and not jump to immediate conclusions. It is nice to see they are still developing their supercar in these difficult times.
