To follow up the story we posted a couple of days ago. Several websites claim to have spotted a test mule of the LP550-2 undergoing a spot of testing at the Nurburgring in Germany. The speculation centers around several interesting body parts spotted on the car.

First up there’s the most obvious difference, this car has a new front bumper. Whilst looking suspiciously like the previous generation of Gallardo, this cars bumper features an extra vent below where the front numberplate would normally go.

Secondly, the new front bumper is attached to the shape of the new LP560-4. The new front lights and the quad exhaust pipes show this. There’s also a new look rear bumper in this picture with two vertical blocks cutting through the rear mesh venting. Looking closely at the pictures also reveals a section of red above where the lights are placed.

We’re not sure what to make of this new set of spyshots. They highlight new features that our previous information didn’t. They leave a lot of questions unanswered.
