Chevrolet’s roofless version of the Camaro has been postponed. The reason is probably the credit crunch and the delayed delivery of the coupés. Besides that Chevrolet announced to produce a SS version which makes the convertible version unsure. Although, General Motors representative, Terry Rhadigan claims that the car will be produced early 2011.

The convertible was never canceled. It was retimed. It will be the first quarter of 2011 for the start of production. We always thought it would be one year after the coupe, instead we are going two.
