For all Lotus fans out there, this must be nice news. After presenting the Lotus Evora it became pretty quiet. But our source indicated today that Lotus is planning to refresh it’s complete line-up. It includes the already announced convertible version of the Evora as well as an Supercharged Evora, a new Elise and Esprit.

A new Lotus Elise could be unveiled as early as 2011 and it will likely bring forward a number of current components into future models, rather than share its chassis with the Evora. While the little Elise may not be suited to the Evora’s chassis, the next-generation Esprit will likely be built on this platform and equipped with a V8 engine. Engineers are predicting a 2012 launch date for the new Esprit.
