Our friend’s over at Carzi.com happened to be at Palm Beach in Florida a couple of weeks ago and managed to get a look at this 959 electric conversion. It’s actually a standard Porsche base with a 959 shell over the top, we’re not sure wether we like it but perhaps it offers a glance into the future of the performance car…
This particular model has battery options from 50-200 mile in range and over top speeds of over 100 mph. The companies website states that it achieves this by a “lead acid package includes 17 Odyssey series-2150 93AH batteries, EPN DC 11″ motor, 1000 amp water cooled controller, 5 speed 915 Porsche trans”. There website also shows a number of projects including a Porsche Carrera GT that we most definately don’t like.
