The Donkervoort D8 GT was first shown on the Geneva Motorshow. The Donkervoort D8 GT has been in development for a while now and since clients started to sign in for their D8 GT, the Dutch manufacturer started to produce the cars. Donkervoort uses loads of carbon fiber for the D8 GT roof and doors, resulting in a of just 650 kg. The power is derived from a 1.8 liter turbocharged Audi 4-cylinder engine producing 180, 210 or 270 horsepower. To finalize the car Donkervoort has specifically designed light-weight 17 inch wheels which weigh just 6.5 kg.
Donkervoort plans to build approximately 50 units per year and has them priced at € 90,000 ($ 141,700 – £ 71,500) excluding taxes. Pretty high price if you ask us! The first Donkervoort D8 GT’s should be ready by June 2008.

It looks like a Morgan/Caterham.
I agree on the Caterham point of view and it will be a serious competitor for the british! Don’t see the Morgan in it…
