The very popular Mercedes Benz SL-Class is now on the market for over 6 years, which means that the current generation SL ready to be facelifted. The pictures are showing the next Mercedes SL without any cover, just a few pieces of black tape were removed from the car by computer. Besides a complete new interior design, the most dramatic changes are the CLS-Class style headlamps, a new front bumper and grille. On the rear, Mercedes added new LED tail lights and a restyled rear bumper.
Engines are likely to remain the same, but rumours have it that Mercedes is working on a turbocharged version of the 350 engine with 354 bhp. Top of the SL range will be the well known biturbo V12 SL 65 AMG with a stunning 612 bhp. The new Mercedes SL-Class will most likely make it’s debut on the 2009 Geneva Motor Show.
