Team Rides Update 6: Day 6

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, and so do we. Apparently, I was outvoted by the other members of Team RIDES when it came to setting the alarm clock. It’s 1:30 PM and we are just waking up. The rest of the Bullrunners are at the Las Vegas International Raceway taking hot laps, which we later hear was moments from being fatal.

I wanted all-you-can-eat buffet, but again I am outvoted and I settle for a Belgian waffle at the Augusta Café in Caesar’s Palace. Obviously we are in no rush. If we take the I-15 to the I-215 to the day’s destination San Diego, it should only take a few hours. Today’s mid-stop is Lake Havasu in Arizona, so everyone else will be going the long way.

Now, I wish I could tell of great highway hoonery and stories of evading the police. But there was no need to speed excessively today. We averaged 90mph, had a sit down lunch at El Pollo Loco and rolled into San Diego just in time for a night cap. Tomorrow is the last day, we plan on making it count. Bail anyone?
