It didn’t take long for a tuner to start personalizing the new Range Rover Velar, which was revealed just over a month ago at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Who else than Lumma Design, a long-time JLR specialist, would present us first with a custom interpretation: meet the Lumma Design Range Rover Velar CLR GT.

The tuner will bring several performance upgrades to both petrol and diesel engines and reveal a 30th Anniversary limited edition widebody conversion by the end of this year. The custom widebody kit includes a distinctive front spoiler and mesh inserts to further enhance the SUV’s aggressive face.

On the sides the Velar gains visually more mass thanks to wider wheel arches and door panel extensions. To fill those big wheel arches properly, Lumma Design offers large 22-inch double five-spoke LUMMAR CLR racing alloy wheels shod with 305/35R22 tires.

At the rear the Velar gets buffed up even further with the addition of a distinctive underbody diffuser incorporating a pair of angular stainless steel sports exhaust tailpipes on each side. To add some extra flair, a matching decorative strip set becomes available as a further option.

Further included in the rich customization program for the new Range Rover Velar is the custom ultra-light carbon fiber bonnet, a sports look front grille, a rear spoiler lip and further carbon fiber highlights on the car’s exterior. We are still awaiting what exact power upgrades the engineers of Lumma Design have in store for the brand new Velar.
