The latest hand-built hypercar to roll out of the Koenigsegg factory in Swedish Ängelholm is the Agera RS1. This 1,360 hp strong monster is bound for the United States where it will debut at this year’s New York Auto Show.
Both the owner and his son have been actively involved in the specification and build process of the hypercar. Finished in ‘Arctic White’, the Agera RS1 sports bright blue and carbon fiber highlights all around. The special shade of blue returns on the inside of the hypercar, which is dominated by pristine Alcantara leather, polished carbon fiber and black anodized aluminum.
Once the hypercar opens up in a transformer-like fashion, the big 5.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 is revealed, good for an insane 1,360 horsepower and 1,370 Nm of torque. The performance numbers are staggering too: 0-100 km/h takes only 2.8 seconds and 0-300 km/h only takes 12.3 seconds.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS1 is one of the only five Agera RS coming to America. In total only 25 Koenigsegg Agera RS will be produced, all of which were formally signed for back in January 2016.
