Today supercar manufacturer McLaren teased their three-seat ‘Hyper GT’ car and released further details about the project, which is codenamed ‘BP23’. The three-seat hybrid hypercar will be the brand’s most powerful and aerodynamic road-going creation yet.

Built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), only 106 units are made available – all of which are already sold out. The codename, BP23, was derived from the fact that this will be the MSO division’s second bespoke project and that the car will feature three seats.

The limited number of 106 units matches the production limit that was once set for the McLaren F1. Owners who have managed to get their hands on a future BP23 hypercar are invited to closely work alongside the MSO team to select colors, individual trims and a host of other personalization features. The first examples of the BP23 Hyper GT car are expected to be delivered in 2019.

  1. You know, this is how I feel:

    Beautiful: F1, 570 series, 675LT, P1

    Fugly: 650s, 720s

    In-between: 12C

I have a bad feel the beautiful ones I listed may be the only “Beautiful” ones that ever come to be… Justa gut feeling they are going to look like some fugly cyborgs from now on :-/
