On of BMW’s world premieres at the Geneva Motor Show 2017 is the facelift of the 4-Series model range including the 2018 BMW M4. The performance model debuts next to the entire revised 4-series range from coupe to Gran Coupe. We took a closer look at what is different for BMW’s most popular models! The facelift M3 is not on display in Geneva but visually the changes are very similar.

The biggest change for both cars is the availability of LED headlights or optionally, the Icon Adaptive LED headlights. New 3D LED rear lights are also offered with the BMW M3 Saloon receiving the same setup from March 2017.

The new BMW 4-Series models get a mid-life refresh with a larger air intake, new bars and LED headlights and rear lights. On the Sport version, the air intake is almost entirely bordered by a high-gloss black bar.

The BMW M4 gets the same six-cylinder engine with twin turbochargers, little has changed. Power is slightly improved to 431 hp while the Competition Package gets a 19 hp power hike to 450 hp.
