It has been 20 years since FAB Design appeared on the scene. At the Geneva Motor Show 2017 they will celebrate with a one-off vehicle; the FAB Design SLR Desire 20th Anniversary. Based upon their iconic kit for the Anglo-German supercar, the FAB Design package represents the absolute edge of what the design house is able to produce.
The FAB Design SLR Desire 20th Anniversary is produced entirely of carbon fibre. The bodykit is similar to FAB Design’s previous Desire models with an almost cartoon-like appearance. It gets wide fender flares with, a new front facia and a new rear facia.
Inside, FAB Design can customise vehicles to the owner’s choice with exclusive leathers and colouring, custom stitching and high quality finishes. This particular example has a contrasting blue interior.
A small performance update is also offered, lifting the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren’s 5.4 litre V8 to a healthy 750 hp and 1080 Nm of torque. Sports suspension has been installed with adjustable compression stages. The 20 inch Evolution rims are fitted with Michelin tyres measuring 265/30 ZR 20 and 325/25 ZR 20.
