Ahead of the start of the Geneva Motor Show 2017, Bugatti has revealed that it has managed to secure its 250th order. That means the the Chiron is half way to being sold out! Bugatti have limited their latest supercar to just 500 examples.

Bugatti haven’t yet started a program of test drives, yet half of the production run is sold out. Despite this, Bugatti is pushing ahead with deliveries. Within the next few days, the first vehicles are to be delivered to customers to coincide with the Geneva Motor Show.

37 percent of all sales have been made in Europe, followed by North America with 30 percent of orders to date. The Middle East, with 26 percent, is another key market for Bugatti.

Bugatti is showing a Chiron produced for a customer in Geneva. The show car features a new exposed carbon fibre colour “Bleu Royal”. It is one of a total of eight carbon colours for the Chiron, including Black, Grey, Turquoise, Blue, Green, Brown and Red. For the interior the customer opted for a duotone colour. The leather surfaces are finished in two different tones of blue, “Deep Blue” and “French Racing Blue”.

Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., said: “The Chiron got off to a fantastic start with its tremendous world premiere here in Geneva last year. Over the months that followed, we kept our foot on the gas, started series production and are now delivering the first vehicles to our customers. The fact that we have already taken orders for half of the Chiron series even without test drives so far bears witness to the great confidence of our customers in our brand and its strong aura.”
