The Grand Tour Season 1 Episode 4 is now available and can be streamed live on Amazon Prime. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May returned to Whitby for the second week in a row where the live show took place.

This week’s center piece tasks the three gentlemen with the challenge of building eco-friendly and sustainable cars. Only materials deemed environmental friendly could be used on the interiors and exteriors of the cars. That said, Clarkson went for animal hide which he used to cover his car, later adding a load of fresh meat that (as you would expect) went bad after some time. Hammond’s car was covered in a garden of flowers and green plants while Captain Slow’s car was made with mud.

Clarkson opens the show with a comparison test drive featuring the BMW M4 GTS and the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The sustainable cars were then used in what was dubbed as a ‘green motorsport event’ later in the show. As for The American, he gets the M4 GTS for a lap around their newest test track.

The studio parts of every episode will be filmed in different places around the world. The first episode was filmed in the Californian desert, the second one in Johannesburg, the third and fourth one in Withby, United Kingdom. Followed by Rotterdam, Lapland, Stuttgart, Scotland and Nashville. The season finale will be filmed at the foot of the world’s tallest skyscraper the Burj Khalifa in Dubai on Saturday 10th of December.

The first season of The Grand Tour includes 12 episodes airing once a week on Friday from 18th of November 2016 until Friday 3rd of February 2017. Stream The Grand Tour Season 1 Episode 4 on Amazon Prime now.
