Images of what is thought to be the facelifted Porsche 911 GT3 have been leaked through Dutch website Autoblog.nl.

From the images we can tell the new 911 GT3 will feature a more chiseled front end with larger air intakes and a revised rear diffuser. Apart from these changes, the sportscar’s looks are expected to remain mostly the same.

Earlier this year Porsche announced the 2017 911 GT3 would receive a six-speed manual gearbox option. Porsche only offers the current version of the car with a seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission – a decision many Porsche purists weren’t happy about upon the car’s debut.

While the rest of the 911 (save for the raw 911 R) has adopted turbocharged engines, the 911 GT3 will thankfully keep its 3.8-litre flat-six engine for the foreseeable future. In the current version of the car, the six-cylinder powerplant produces 468hp and 324 lb-ft of torque.

Porsche has declined to comment on the leaked images.
