Ford has officially released a heritage version of the 2017 Ford GT.

The ’66 Heritage Edition Ford GT was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the company’s iconic 1-2-3 victory at Le Mans. The car pays tribute to drivers Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon and features a special Shadow Black exterior color finished in either gloss or matte finish.

Final exterior styling tweaks include 20-inch forged aluminum wheels finished in a beautiful shade of gold satin with contrasting black lugnuts.

Interior changes include carbon fiber seats with Ebony leather upholstery and pillowed inserts.

Additional interior tweaks include matte carbon fiber trim and an individually-numbered plaque. Special seat belts with blue webbing are also featured as a throwback to those used in the 1966 race winning car.
