With a couple weeks left before the 2016 Goodwood Festival Of Speed, VUHL Automotive has officially announced the debut of the 05 RR, an uprated version of the current 05, the RR will sit in the line-up above the standard VUHL 05 as the choice of the true track and performance enthusiast.

“Part of the new category, Race Cars for the Road, within the Michelin Supercar Paddock at the Festival of Speed, the new VUHL 05RR will be revealed for the first time and driven up the famed Goodwood Hillclimb by UK rising star GP2 driver and Formula 1 test driver, Jordan King.”

However, details remain undisclosed as well as a complete image of the vehicle, although we get to see new centerlock wheels in carbon fibre and a central exhaust system, as an overall enlightened structure. For now, all the information given states that the 05RR is the result of:

– extensive track development of the 05
– aggressive mass reduction and aero programs
– sourcing of top quality components selected in collaboration with the supplier’s engineering teams.

Iker Echeverría, VUHL Technical Director, said: “I am so looking forward to returning to the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year, with our new 05RR car. We have upgraded all the car’s systems to make our 05RR faster, more engaging and even more track focused

More information on the VUHL 05RR will be released from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which takes place from 23-26 June 2016.
