Top Gear Season 23 Episode 2 had a lot to prove, picking up from different reactions incurred after the first episode last Sunday. Its the second episode of the newly revamped show that is now hosted by Chris Harris alongside Matt LeBlanc, replacing Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond.

The second episode takes us to South Africa where Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc and Eddie Jordan will test three new premium SUVs. Their task? To deliver an A-List celebrity to a top rated pub in Africa. The three SUVs are – Jaguar F-Pace, Mercedes-Benz GLC and the Porsche Macan. Evans and team will be transporting Seasick Steve, Tinie Tempah and Sharleen Spiteri using the SUVs.
The question that most viewers (especially car enthusiasts) are asking is, “Where is Chris Harris?”. Harris has had a successful career on YouTube reviewing cars before joining the new Top Gear team. As it stands, Harris and Rory Reid will be part of the newly formed Extra Gear, an additional footage included in each episode. But the two have confirmed their appearance on episode three.
Besides the SUV trip, Evans will be testing the McLaren 675LT, putting it through the test of time that was defined by the legendary McLaren F1.
