Top Gear have just released the date on which their new series will premiere. On the 29th of May, that’s less than three weeks, the first episode of the new season will air on BBC 2. The show returns on Sunday night 8pm UK time.

The new season 23 of Top Gear promises to continue the format of the previous seasons, despite the three former Top Gear stars having moved on to creating their very own show at Amazon Prime. The new Top Gear stars are now Chris Evans, Matt LeBlanc, Rory Reid, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Harris and Eddie Jordan.

Filming Top Gear Series 28 during the past eight months took place in nine different countries with the six new presenters racking up over 7,500 miles. Until date, Top Gear have already released several teasers and trailers, in which the new crew is seen sliding the new Ferrari F12tdf, jumping an Ariel Nomad, and driving the Dodge Viper facing an actual fighter jet. To top it all off they even got one of the presenters to throw up after a rather quick lap around the track.
