Here are the spy shots of the soon to be released Lamborghini Huracán Superleggera. Just like with their other models, Lamborghini simply can’t pass on the special editions such as the Superleggera that they usually build. The gallery shows a white example of the Huracán Superleggera with so little disguise, that we expect it to be a prototype version.

The first change that distinguishes the future Superleggera from the regular Huracán are the blacked out rear fascia and exhaust tips. The Superleggera’s rear is said to be inspired by the Lamborghini Huracán race car. The Superleggera special edition will join earlier released variants such as the LP580-2 and the LP610-4 Spyder editions.

The future Lamborghini Huracán Superleggera will take on competitors by the likes of the Ferrari 488 GTB and the McLaren 675LT. To be able to compete in this segment the special edition is expected to cut more than a 100 kilograms of weight and get more power in addition. Also expect faster shifting times from the dual-clutch transmission that will be upgraded accordingly to match the power bump.

Although we can’t officially name it the Lamborghini Huracán Superleggera yet as its official name has not been released so far, there is no reason to believe that Lamborghini would defect from its traditional special edition naming and badging.
