Benetti Crystal 140 M/Y is a full class displacement yacht by Italian shipyard Azimut-Benetti of which seven units have been built since its inception. The yacht made its US debut at the 2016 Yachts Miami Beach Show back in February featuring the stunning works of Stefano Righini (exterior) and Ezequiel Farca (interior).

The first unit of Crystal 140 was launched in 2011, the name reflects certain elements of the sea such as light, vistas and transparency. It features a four-deck layout comprising of a sundeck, upper deck, main deck and lower deck. In total, Crystal can accommodate 12 guests and a crew of 7.

The interior – which is fully customizable by the owner – reveals generous spaces across all cabins and rich materials used on the walls not to mention the magnificent wooden floor. The stern area is located at the front towards the bow with a side door to give access to all the garage toys including the tender and jet skis. This leaves massive space at the beach club which is fitted with a shower, gallery, chairs, bathroom and a fridge.

The lower deck has been repartitioned accordingly – the engine room is organized into meaningful proportions again leaving generous space for the guest cabins. There are four guest cabins, two doubles and two twins as well as the crew area. The main deck can be accessed via a staircase, leading to the large living area, bar, main saloon and a dining area for eight.

Moving forward towards the bow you find the owner’s cabin which has been meticulously endowed with large panoramic windows to usher in natural lighting as well as providing endless sea views while cruising. The upper deck presents unrivaled relaxation experience with two large game tables enclosed by a glass window that can be opened to let in natural air or closed to utilize the climate control feature. There are additional open-air sofas on the upper deck while the control room and the captain’s cabin are located towards the bow.

Further relaxation can be experienced on the sundeck which includes a sliding cover to protect guests from the sun or allow them to enjoy sunbathing.

The 41.9 meter Crystal yacht is powered by two CAT C32 ACERT engines rated at 1081 kW each. The yacht can achieve a maximum speed of 15 knots while at half load and a range of 4,000 nm while cruising at 12 knots.
