The hotel’s design resembles the head of a falcon, paying tribute to Qatar’s historic falconry heritage. To emphasize this even further, a falconer in traditional garb with the majestic bird of prey sat on his arm stands at the tower’s entrance to welcome guests. Upon entrance, a barista serves guests with a special blend of Arabian coffee as an additional welcome gesture.

The tower that stands over 200 meters tall features 272 guest rooms and suites, as well as 42 fully-serviced apartments. The floor-to-ceiling windows in all accommodations allow for plenty of natural light to come in and on top of that provide guests with some of the most breathtaking views over the skyscraper-filled city of Doha.

Interior-wise the guest rooms are finished using a warm color palette. Room amenities include 47-inch Smart TVs with internet access, Shangri-La’s signature mattresses, and marble finished bathrooms with premium toiletries, bath tub and walk-in showers.
