Fast and Furious is a 44-meter superyacht built by Italian shipyard, AB Yachts in 2015. She was unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival last year and again at the 2016 Dubai International Boat Show which ended yesterday.
As the name suggests, Fast and Furious is indeed a very quick superyacht thanks to her lightweight construction combined with a set of MJP waterjets that produces 7,800 hp. The maximum speed is 42 knots while the cruising speed stands at 38 knots. Fast and Furious can cruise at 38 knots through a range of 720 nautical miles.
Built within the sporty Fipa Group of AB Yachts, Fast and Furious was designed entirely by the in-house team, at 44.5 meters she’s the largest superyacht from Fipa Group. Even with that much speed, the yacht still retains top of the range luxury amenities, and thanks to the hydrodynamic analysis Fast and Furious manages to cruise without vibrations or any noise whatsoever.
The master suite is located on the main deck and extends to the full beam, the owners have their private side terrace and access to the bow area. The guest cabins are located below the main deck – there are three double cabins and one double cabin with twin beds. Altogether, Fast and Furious can accommodate a total of 10 guests.
