The first spy shots of the facelifted Audi S3 Cabriolet have been released.

As you can see from the photos, the majority of the camouflage is being used to cover the front and rear bodywork of the car. This is where we expect most of the changes to occur. While the camouflage does a good job of hiding the new bodywork, what we can see is that the S3 will feature an all-new front grille that features a more well defined hexagon shape.

Rear changes appear to be minimal, if any at all. While we expect the production version of the S3 to feature changes to the rear, it appears as though this development car has yet to receive those changes. The rear of the car is also covered in snow, making it even more difficult to pick out any small changes. If you notice any, shout them out in the comments below.

Powering the facelifted S3 will be the same 2.0-litre TSFI petrol engine as in the current car. Expect a power output of 300 horsepower.

Expect the updated S3 to debut as early as next September, possibly at the Paris Motor Show.
