The 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith is in for a facelift. The British handcrafted super luxury automobile has shown steady sales over the past years, enough to justify facelifting the Wraith. Officially named the Rolls-Royce Wraith Series II, the slightly altered Rolls-Royce Wraith is expected to be unveiled later this year.

The Rolls-Royce Wraith, wraith meaning ‘ghost’ in Scottish, was spied undergoing final test in Germany. As can be seen on the pictures, no major exterior changes are expected, and instead a re-fresh similar to that of the Rolls-Royce Ghost is probably what makes the Rolls-Royce Wraith Series II.

Among the exterior adjustments are a redesign of the LED headlights, a modest re-shape of the front and rear bumper and new wheel options for the high-end luxury coupe. The Rolls-Royce Wraith Series II is also likely to embody a few changes first introduced on Rolls-Royce’s latest convertible, the Rolls-Royce Dawn. Think of a new suspension setup and more wood veneers and interior trims to choose from.

In terms of power no advances are expected, with the Rolls-Royce Wraith Series II packing the same twin-turbo V12 tied to the 8-speed ZF transmission that we know from its predecessor.
