The Mercedes-AMG S63 4Matic Cabriolet “Edition 130” celebrated its global debut at the Detroit Motor Show 2016 and one can see its pictures from the event below. In case you are wondering, the convertible marks 130 years since Karl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler invented the Benz Patent Motorwagen- the first automobile designed to generate its own power.

The vehicle packs a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine that can produce 585 hp (430 kW) and 900 Nm of torque. This allows for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint of 3.9 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The new Mercedes-AMG S63 Cabriolet “Edition 130” gets Alubeam Silver paint finish, Bordeaux red fabric top and matte black 20-inch 10-spoke wheels. Moving on to the interior, customers can either go for red and black or gray and black leather, with the piano lacquer trim.

As the name suggests, the production of the car will be limited to 130 units, with the European price set at €226,457, and deliveries will start in April 2016.
