Revealed on the first day of the 2016 Detroit Motor Show, this is the new second generation Audi A4 Allroad Quattro. The 2016 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro stands on higher legs, enjoying 34mm more ground clearance over the regular 2016 Audi A4 Avant.

Audi’s successful Allroad Quattro model line once started back in 1999 with the Audi A6 Allroad Quattro. 10 years later, the Audi A4 Allroad Quattro joined the family offering the same advantages as the A6 Allroad Quattro, albeit it a little more accessible in terms of pricing.

With standard Quattro all-wheel drive, the 2016 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro is designed for conquering the roughest terrains. The petrol and diesel drivetrain options start from a 150hp four-cylinder going up to a 272hp 3.0-litre flat six. That seems to be the performance peak for the 2016 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro for now, with no Audi S4 Allroad Quattro announced yet.

The 2016 Audi A4 Allroad Quattro is set to arrive at local dealerships by summer 2016, with pricing expected to be announced in just weeks time.
