The Essen Motor Show effectively acts as Europe’s version of SEMA and just like this year’s edition of SEMA, Essen 2015 proved exceptional thanks to the array of impressively tuned sports cars and supercars it attracted.

Certainly one of the highlights of Essen has been this; a custom Ferrari 488 GTB tuned by xXx Performance. This is one of the very first customised 488’s we’ve come across and while the modifications are quite minor, they do give the mid-engined Italian supercar some unique flair.

For starters, it has been outfitted with a matte red wrap and also includes a new front splitter and side skirt flics finished in matte black. The wing mirrors, roof and side air intake blades are also matte black to give the 488 a menacing persona. Elsewhere is a Capristo exhaust and an inbuilt suspension kit using KW parts.

xXx-Performance has developed three tuning stages for the new Ferrari 488 GTB. Stage 1 comes with 750 hp and 830 Nm, Stage 2 offers 850 hp and 930 Nm and is the current package featured on this particular vehicle. Stage 3 goes higher with over 1,000 hp and 1,250 Nm of torque.

Completing the modifications are a set of Vossen Wheels, the VPS-314T. They utilise gold spokes and measure 21×9 at the front and 21×12.5 at the rear.
