The latest addition to the ever-growing fleet of cars from CR Supercars has just been unveiled in the form of the 1969 Chevrolet CR1 Camaro. Currently on display at SEMA 2015 in the Centerforce Clutches booth, the car combines classic muscle car styling with modern-day power.

Driving the 1969 CR1 Camaro is the Chevrolet Performance LS7 crate V8 engine pumping out a total of 505 hp. Alongside the engine, CR Supercars have fitted long tube headers, a 3-inch bent exhaust, MagnaFlow mufflers and a bespoke pulley system. Mated to the engine is a 6-speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels.

Beyond the engine upgrades, the car includes a completely overhauled suspension system to make it handle like a 21st century sports car. As such, it includes adjustable coilovers at all four corners as well as power steering. Meanwhile, braking is provided by Wilwood six-piston calipers and 14-inch discs at both the front and rear. Massive 275/35 and 335/30 BFGoodrich Rival tyres are also included in the package.

In the cabin, the CR1 Camaro and has been installed with an eight point roll cage, bucket seats, five-point harnneses and a leather steering wheel.
