A selection of upgrades have just been announced for the 2016 model year Porsche Macan. The vehicle’s reveal comes out on the heels of the Macan GTS being unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show and brings with it a number of changes which are likely to prove popular among buyers.
For starters, all 2016 Porsche Macan models can now be ordered with the Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus including complete LED cornering headlights. The lights also come complete with a high beam function automatically activated at night and triggered by a camera mounted at the front of the performance-oriented SUV.
Elsewhere, the new Porsche Macan is available in a number of additional colours and can be purchased with a heated steering wheel adorned in alcantara. The latest Porsche Communication Management system also comes standard on all Macan models and includes a large seven-inch high-res touchscreen display supporting Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth and USD input.
For the 2016 Porsche Macan Turbo, the car is available with a new interior and exterior kit. In the cabin, it includes alcantara trim and Turbo lettering as well as decorative stitching and illuminated door sill plates. Exterior wise, there are 21-inch wheels taken directly from the Porsche 911 Turbo as well as Sport Design side mirrors, black tailpipes, black air inlets and side blades and finished in smoked taillights.
