Not long after officially unveiling the McLaren 650S Can-Am, the British automaker has dropped two new images showing off the two additional paint and livery options available for the car.

McLaren initially showcased the 650S Can-Am in a colour dubbed ‘Mars Red’ with a matte black bonnet, roof, decklid and rear wing and some white accents. The second option available is ‘Papaya Spark’ (orange) with it complemented with a range of matte black components as well as bright blue elements like the side skirts and the seats. Finally is the ‘Onxy Black’ option which comes complete with aggressive red racing stripes, white accents and red across the sports seats.

The McLaren 650S Can-Am has been introduced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the inaugural Can-Am racing series. Between 1967 and 1971, McLaren claimed five consecutive championships in Can-Am and the latest special edition 650S takes design inspiration from the racing series. Some of the most significant features of the McLaren 650S Can-Am are its new range of lightweight carbon fibre components like the carbon retractable hard top.

Other bespoke elements of the 650S Can-Am include the new carbon fibre air covers on the front wheel arches as well as the custom quad stainless steel exhaust system. Inside, leather and alcantara adorns the sports seats as do a number of carbon fibre accents.
