In 2016, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts will open its ninth hotel in China with the debut of Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin. The new Tianjin will be followed by a further five Four Seasons properties throughout China in the coming three years.

As for Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin, it will support 259 rooms and be incorporated with a complex including an office tower and retail stores. It will be located near the city’s main east-west thoroughfare providing ease of access to and from the city. Additionally, it will be a short walk from Bingjiang Avenue which is the city’s major shopping area.

Some of the key elements of the property will be three different dining and beverage options as well as an extensive spa and fitness facility complete with a swimming pool.

Recently discussing the company’s presence in China, senior vice president of hotel operations in Asia Pacific for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, William Mackay, said “Four Seasons helps to demystify China, making the country more approachable. We’re there every step of the journey and can advise on interesting itinerary ideas or help simplify what can be deemed a hard-to-understand destination.”
