Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts will add a fifth hotel to its Hawaiian collection next year with the opening of Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina. The hotel will be Four Seasons’ first on the island of Oahu and be located right on the beachfront of the sunset coast.

The hotel will be massive with 358 rooms and thanks to its prime location on Oahu, will be within easy access of a number of recreational activities and locations, historic sites and shopping. The hotel will include a selection of beaches and swimming pools, many of which will be reserved for adults only.

Elsewhere, they’ll be a large spa and wellness centre spread across multiple levels and complete with tennis and watersport facilities. Guests will also have access to the nearby Ko Olina golf club while a number of large event spaces are being constructed to host up to 900 guests. The interiors of the property will be designed by Philpotts Interiors.

Last month, Four Seasons began accepting reservations for the hotel starting on June 1, 2016. Discussing this on September 16, senior director of marketing for Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Nelson Hilton said “We’ve had so many inquiries from all over the world asking when the new Four Seasons will open, so we’ve decided to start taking reservations for next year as of today. Even sight unseen and before we’ve revealed any details, the global reputation of Four Seasons in Hawaii has assured travellers that our fifth resort – the first on Oahu – will be nothing short of extraordinary.”
