Both the Mercedes-Benz SL facelift and facelifted Mercedes-Benz GLS models are set to celebrate their global public debuts at next month’s Los Angeles Auto Show 2015.

The brand new Mercedes-Benz GLS will replace the current GL and be renamed as part of the German company’s latest nomenclature. Spy shots have revealed that the new GLS features an extensively revised front fascia incorporating new headlights and a different front grille. Other changes will include a tweaked rear bumper, new tailpipes and tweaked taillights.

As for the variants which will be offered, it is suggested that the GLS350, GLS450, GLS550 and GLS63 AMG models will all be carried over to this facelifted model. A new model to join the range will be the GLS400 with it pinned to utilise a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder engine delivering 333 hp and capable of sending the car to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds and a 240 km/h top speed.
