At a special event in Dubai, Nissan’s Nismo performance division has just unveiled its modified Nissan Patrol. The car joins the Nissan 370Z Nismo and Nissan GT-R Nismo already available in the Middle East.

Powering the Nissan Patrol Nismo is an upgraded 5.6-litre V8 engine pumping out a total of 428 hp and in excess of 412 lb-ft of torque. Nissan has yet to reveal complete specifications about the car but promises that the undisclosed torque figure is available across over 70 per cent of the rev range.

Beyond the engine modifications, Nismo has created a special bodykit for the off-roader. The new kit includes a GT-R Nismo inspired front bumper with a prominent splitter and redesigned air intakes. At the rear end is a beefed up bumper, a new diffuser as well as quad tailpipes and the obligatory Nismo badge. As with the other Nismo models, the car has been adorned with a number of bright red accents and the exterior look is completed with 22-inch Rays forged alloy wheels.

Completing the modifications is a Nismo steering system and Bilstein shock absorbers.
