According to reports, the potent Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale will be unveiled sometime next week.

It was initially believed that the F12 Versione Speciale would debut at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 last month, but Ferrari opted against debuting the car there leading to the belief it could instead debut at Geneva next year. If the vehicle is indeed revealed next week however, it could conceivably debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November considering the show’s size.

Whenever the Ferrari F12 Versione Speciale does debut, we know that it will feature a host of visual, aerodynamic and mechanical modifications. On an aero standpoint, there will be heavily revised front and rear fascias as well as a new rear diffuser and shark fins above the rear wheel arches.

From an engine standpoint, it is believed that the car will utilise the same 6.3-litre V12 engine as the regular F12 Berlinetta but could produce around 800 hp. The additional power could be achieved thanks to a KY-KERS system similar to the one from the LaFerrari. Beyond the extra power, the Versione Speciale could also weigh 100 kg less than the standard car.
