Certainly one of the most interesting cars on display at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 is this, the Honda Project 2&4. Strictly a concept but previewing a potential rival to the Ariel Atom, the Honda Project 2&4 is one of the really head-turners of the show. We saw it in person.

The Honda Project 2&4 comes courtesy of Honda’s ‘Global Design Project’. The program had over 80 designers and creators from the world participating. The winning design was from the Honda motorcycle design studio in Asaka Japan. The final design also saw input from the Japanese marque’s design studio in Wako.

Power for the Honda Project 2&4 comes courtesy of the company’s RC213V engine, used in the successful Honda MotoGP racers. Revving to an extraordinary 14,000 rpm and delivering 215 hp at 13,000 rpm, the Project 2&4 promises to be exceptionally brisk in a straight line. Torque its at 118 Nm and the engine is coupled with a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
