Hyatt Hotels Corporation alongside LATAM Hotels Corp have just celebrated the opening of Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa. The hotel is the first from Hyatt in Honduras and combines all the luxuries you’d expect from a Hyatt Place hotel in Central America.

Located in the centre of the capital city of Honduras, the hotel is close to the large Novacentro shopping mall as well as local business and entertainment hubs including restaurants, bars and cinemas. Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa features 126 rooms with complimentary WiFi provided to all guests.

Other key features of Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa include a 24-hour access gym while 24/7 room service is also offered to guests. There is also a coffee and cocktail bar and interestingly, a specially commissioned piece of art from renowned local artist Santos Arzu Quioto. It hangs at the hotel’s gallery area.

In the next three years, Hyatt Place will be opening four additional hotels throughout Central America under its continued relationship with LATAM Hotels Corp.

Discussing the hotel, vice president of global brans for Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Steven Dominguez said “The Hyatt Place brand was designed from the insight of our guests’ appreciation for approachable style, where design and quality is delivered in a very simple and affordable fashion, offering a seamless travel experience for guests. As the Hyatt portfolio of brands continues to enter new markets throughout the region, we are delighted that the opening of Hyatt Place Tegucigalpa marks the first Hyatt branded hotel in Honduras.”
