The McLaren P1 seen in the featured image above, with chassis no. 301, is the only one in the world to wear BMW’s Austin Yellow exterior paint. The color is the successor to the Phoenix Yellow color and is prominently seen on the M4. McLaren Special Operations team carried out the modification on the P1.

While there are divisive views on the Austin Yellow color with many BMW enthusiasts not particularly fond of it, the P1 looks menacing with the livery and the matte black wheels only enhance the look. With 90 per cent of the P1 owners said to be customising their cars, its customers want their prized assets to be bespoke and this P1 surely stands out.

As we all know, the P1 utilises a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 joined with an electric motor making for a combined 903 hp and 978 Nm of torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels by a 7-speed DCT gearbox. McLaren claims that the hybrid supercar can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in just 6.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of the 395 km/h.

It competes with the likes of Porsche 918 Spyder and Ferrari LaFerrari and the production of the McLaren P1 is limited to 375 units.
