Two prototypes of a potential BMW M3 Competition Package have been spied with absolutely no camouflage.
No official information has been provided about the M3 test mules in question. However, they have been installed with wheels identical to those from the recently revealed BMW M4 GTS but without the bright orange accents. Additionally, blue brake calipers are visible as is a subtly tweaked rear diffuser and black exhaust pipes.
Of course, there’s a possibility that the M3s pictured haven’t been adorned with the Competition Package and could be a new iteration of the BMW M3 CRT, previously available for the E90-generation model in extremely limited numbers. There’s also a chance these M3s are simply a new Limited Edition version of the sports car set to be revealed soon.
Whatever the case may be, it is clear that the German marque is planning something. After all, it recently emerged that more special M3 and M4 models are on the cards and this could be the first of them.
