Just like some of the world’s finest exotic cars, the lives of some exceedingly expensive superyachts can be cut short in the cruellest ways possible. Recently in Mykonos, an incredible expensive Custom Line Navetta measuring 33 metres sunk just off the coast.
It remains unclear what caused the Navetta to almost completely sink between the Platis Gialos and Psarou beaches. Whatever the case may be, all the occupants onboard the superyacht managed to escape without injury thanks to local rescue crews.

It seems inevitable irreversible damage has been caused to the luxurious yacht. Consequently, we expect it to eventually be recovered, towed back to a local port by a tugboat before being scrapped or some of its parts used/recycled.
For those curious, a used Custom Line Navetta 33 costs in excess of $7 million.
