With 707 hp on tap thanks to its supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine, the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is the world’s fastest sedan with a top speed approaching 330 km/h. In typical Hennessey Performance fashion however, no standard horsepower figure is enough so the American tuner offers its very own HPE800 upgrade package. The upgrades are of course also available with the Challenger SRT Hellcat which uses the same engine.
The HPE800 package sees horsepower jump to 805 at 6200 rpm. That bump has been achieved thanks to the installation of a new ECU, upgraded tuning software, a lower pulley upgrade which slightly increases boost, a high flow air filter and a port matched throttle body.
Beyond the performance mods, the HPE800 package also sees the installation of Hennessey embroidered head rests, Hennessey and HPE800 badging, serial numbered dash plaque and a serial numbered plaque in the engine compartment.
